Simplifying the ATS application process for the long term
17. September 2025

Applicant tracking systems (ATS) map the applicant management process and are now used in most large companies as well as in many SMEs. Despite all its advantages, the application process, which consists of extensive forms and a registration requirement, is often perceived as too complex by applicants and is repeatedly criticized. As part of the introduction of SAP SuccessFactors, solique was commissioned by Planzer Holding AG* to implement job portals and multiposting for 20 brands and 86 organizational units, with a focus on simplifying the application process.
The results of this significant project are impressive: For all organizational units involved (e.g., Planzer Transport AG, Marti Logistik, Quali-Night AG, and others), solique worked with Planzer to develop independent job portals designed in line with their respective corporate designs, as well as visually modern, interactive job ad templates. Job seekers can quickly narrow down and select suitable job offers using a geo-search and/or specific search filters.
For applications, solique implemented brand-specific landing pages with streamlined, mobile-optimized forms for the first time. These contain optional triage questions, input fields for required applicant information, and the option to upload documents. Planzer is thus replacing the SuccessFactors standard process. This results in lower application barriers, lower dropout rates, and a noticeably higher number of applications received. Data is exchanged with SAP SuccessFactors using the reliable and well-established solique API, ensuring smooth and efficient integration. For trainees, a distinct and tailored solution from solique is utilized to meet their specific needs and facilitate their experience.
