Dear Geerthi, please introduce yourself briefly.
My name is Geerthanan Arulampalam, or simply Geerthi Aru. Since April 2024, I have been the Head of Sales at solique, responsible for strategic and operational sales management.

Why did you choose solique?
The industry fascinates me, and I see my current role as an exciting challenge. The opportunity to actively shape the company's success and growth and develop innovative sales strategies particularly appealed to me.

Which values or goals of solique particularly appeal to you?
Innovation, customer orientation, and team spirit are crucial to me. solique also focuses on forward-looking solutions and promotes a culture where new ideas are welcome. I particularly appreciate the close collaboration with our customers to develop individual solutions.

Was there a key moment or person that significantly influenced your career?
A defining moment was certainly my serious accident in 2017. This event and the long recovery process strengthened me physically and mentally and showed me the importance of perseverance, determination, and a positive attitude. Since then, I always see setbacks as opportunities.

What do you like most about your work?
The versatility and the direct influence on the company's development. No day is like the other – that makes my work exciting and challenging at the same time. The exchange with customers and the development of individual solutions are particularly motivating. I am thrilled when our strategies create real added value.

What added value does solique offer its customers?
We support companies with innovative technologies and intelligent solutions to make recruitment processes more efficient. Our software optimizes job postings and improves employer branding and the candidate experience. Additionally, we relieve HR departments through automation, giving them time for strategic tasks.

What does this mean for your daily work?
My role goes far beyond pure sales – it's about consulting, partnership, and long-term customer relationships. I help companies overcome their individual challenges in recruiting. I also continuously inform myself about current HR trends to develop innovative solutions.

How often do you – as a Generation Z representative– look at your phone each day?
Less than you might think! Of course, I use it for work and personal purposes, as I am strongly digitally connected. However, I focus on direct, personal interaction with customers and colleagues. I also need to consciously create offline moments in my life.

How do you relax after a long workday?
I regularly go to the gym to work out and recharge mentally. Walking with my wife and family also helps me unwind and consciously end the day.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
I would like to be able to slow down time. Everyday life is often too fast-paced – the ability to enjoy special moments longer and to pause consciously would be priceless.

Do you have a personal dream or project you want to realize?
I dreamed of building a house before my 30th birthday – and I achieved that! Now, I want to travel more, learn about new cultures, and continue to develop professionally. An advanced degree is also on my list.
