People at solique: Bruno Lüthi, Client Service Specialist
16. September 2025
Our employees are at the heart of our success – not only do they ensure that everything runs smoothly, but their commitment and personalities also shape our corporate culture. In our series "People at solique," they talk about what drives them – both professionally and personally. The editorial team of insideNEWS conducted the interview.
Dear Bruno, please introduce yourself briefly.
My name is Bruno Lüthi, and I've been a part of the graphic and digital media world for over 30 years. At solique, I've found a home for my skills and passion. I live in Langenthal, Bern, with my family, and as a Client Service Specialist, I support our project team in the implementation of customer projects.
You were with solique from the beginning, but left the company for a while – and returned shortly afterwards. Why?
After eleven years, I felt the urge to explore new opportunities. However, I soon realized that my new role lacked the team spirit and flexibility that I valued. I also missed the balance between work and family that I had at solique. So, after three months, I made the bold decision to return. It was an unusual move, but one that I'm grateful for every day!
What do you particularly like about your current role in the project team?
I can contribute my many years of experience at solique – for the benefit of the team and our customers. The move from support to the project team has broadened my professional horizons once again.
How do you motivate customers to participate actively in your projects?
For me, consistent, friendly, and professional communication is crucial. It builds trust, and that is the key to constructive collaboration.
Has your view of teamwork changed over the years?
Yes, definitely. Small teams require flexibility. Rigid roles or clear boundaries don't work. I became even more aware of this after moving to the project team.
Is there a guiding principle that accompanies you in your everyday working life?
«Everything will be all right in the end. If it’s not all right, it’s not yet the end.»
You are a family man. How do you balance your professional and private life?
After our son was born, I was able to reduce my workload to 80% – that was important to me. Today, he is of school age, and our joint "Daddy Day" has been reduced to an afternoon together. For me, however, that's no reason to give up this valuable work-life balance.
What makes you happy during your lunch break or after work?
On lovely days, I like to treat myself to a ride on my Vespa after work. I've been a fan of this iconic scooter for over 36 years. It's not just a mode of transport, but a symbol of my passion for life. It makes the journey home a pure pleasure.
What would you really like to learn or try?
Playing the piano has been at the top of my bucket list for many years. My son is currently teaching himself – perhaps that will be the decisive motivational boost I need. And I've long dreamed of owning an English vintage convertible one day. I'm excited to see what the future brings!
Dear Bruno, thank you very much for talking to us. We wish you continued success at solique – and many more enjoyable rides on your Vespa!
